High-temperature clip ducting designed for demanding industrial applications, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. This hose features a special coated high-temperature fabric wall reinforced with woven stainless steel and an external helix made of hot-dip galvanised steel. Engineered for durability and performance.
Features and Applications
Master-Clip HT 400 is primarily suited as a suction hose, making it perfect for hot air, suction plants, furnace construction, iron and steel works, general engineering, radiant heat protection, low-pressure applications, and flue gas exhaust. While it is conditionally suitable for exhaust fume extraction, it excels in providing reliable performance in other demanding environments.
Properties
Very good temperature resistance, silicone-free, highly flexible, extremely compressible to approximately 1:6, small bend radius, improved vacuum resistance by woven-in reinforcement, external steel helix protects against abrasion, only conditionally suitable for continual flexing, special clamping method guarantees high tensile strength between hose material and external helix.
Note that small amounts of smoke may be emitted when used under positive pressure or with low extraction rates; for gas-tight requirements, consider Master-Clip KAPTON®, Master-Clip HT 500, or HT-pressure hoses.
