Applications
For production, blending and pouring plants, with a concentrations up to 100%. The hose is usually connected with the common fittings for oils, like BS and Camlock.
Technical
Plutone BD100 is the first thermoplastic hose made from a special compound which can deliver Biodiesel at 100% concentration. Very good resistance to fuels, oils and chemicals. Hose for suction and delivery, suitable for a working pressure average of 10 Bar and a vacuum average of 9 mH2O.
Properties
The product is reinforced with a steel spiral and a high tenacity polyester yarn, completely smooth inside and outside to limit friction due to dragging and to ensure flow properties if compared with a vulcanized rubber hose, Plutone BD100 is lighter and easier to handle. By grounding the embedded coppered wire, the hose is electrically bonded according to TRB S 2153. The electrical resistance R ≤ 102 Ohm/m is according to ISO 8031 - ATEX Directive 94/4/EC and 99/92/EC). The hose is also in accordance to the international EN14214, which concerns Biodiesel production.
